My search for the perfect mattress started about three years ago. I initially bought the top-of-the-line mattress from Macy's. Within six months it started getting body impressions so I returned it at a penalty. Then I went to Bloomingdale's and bought my first Kluft latex mattress. Paid almost $6000 for the latex mattress. Within six months of started getting dents and body impressions again despite all the rotations and turns. I later found out that only a few inches on the top was actual latex and the bottom was just basically cheap foam which breaks down. Bloomingdale's has an amazing customer service policy so we upgraded to a different mattress and to tell you a long story short after four separate Kluft mattresses ending up to almost a $20,000 mattress we ended up returning all of them due to the same problem.

So then I really started researching mattresses and I became so familiar with the mattress industries inns and outs. I looked at memory foam mattresses hybrid mattresses and latex mattresses and my extensive research led me to realize that latex mattresses are the best. But the more research I did I realize that and not all latex is the same

In fact the vast majority of latex mattress out there only have a few inches of latex. I learned about the different types of late text from Dunlop to Talaylay to natural organic and synthetic to blends. Yes I found out that latex can be synthetic!!

I search the Internet and I found a long list of online mattress retailers as well as several in Virginia area that sell them shops and stores. After an exhaustive search I realize that what I wanted was at least 12 inches of natural organic Talaylay latex. Only a few companies offer that but most of them charge somewhere between the $6000-8000 range for it.

Ultimately my decision came down to between saavy rest locally and SleepEZ in Arizona. Essentially both were the same but I couldn't justify paying twice as much for the local mattress just for the convenience so I went and purchased sleepez mattress. it came a few days later and assembled it within about an hour very easily and I absolutely love it. I know exactly what's in the mattress since I put it together myself and it feels amazing. Trust me on this, get yourself one of these. Best decision I made finally after years.

Totally recommend Sleep EZ latex mattress. I have spent the past 2+ years trying out everything for $7,000 Klauff & Heirloom spring mattresses to Sleep Number's similarly priced air-mattresses to just about all other highly advertised mail-order mattresses (Casper, Helix, and Leesa). I purchase the 10" all Talalay Latex Eastern King mattress. They shipped it super fast in comparisons to all others (within 2-3). Pricing was phenomenal (~$2500 shipped). After all the trials I've put myself through, FINALLY, this is a keeper :)

I wanted to wait a sufficient amount of time before I reviewed my Sleep EZ mattress, but I think I have enough history and context at this point to write a review. I'll tell a little story... it took me a LONG time to finally bite the bullet and purchase from Sleep EZ after doing extensive research on websites including mattressunderground. Even though I made the decision years ago to get a new mattress from them, I'm not sure why I waited so long. Once I finally did, all of my lower back pain, neck "going out", and general soreness from my crappy old mattress went away. I used to wake up tired and groggy every day, until the new mattress.

The great part about Sleep EZ is the interchangeable layers. I started out with the same as my hubby -- firm, soft, medium (from low layer to top layer) and it was a bit firm for me and I was waking up a bit sore, so I simply switched my side to firm, medium, soft and slept like a dream for months....until I didn't.

About 6 months into my beautiful new mattress, I moved into a new house and left my Sleep EZ mattress in my old house for staging until it sold (hasn't sold yet). Upon recommendation from a friend, and wanting to save a little cash from the "Mattress Stores Are Greedy" place, I purchased a T&N mattress for our guest room... thinking it's a nice place to save money and it won't be my regular mattress and probably would be fine for guests. Sadly, I have been sleeping on this T&N mattress for a couple of weeks and am SO SORE, TIRED, and MISERABLE I WANT TO DIE. Luckily, T&N has a decent return policy so I'm taking it back and heading down to Sleep EZ to buy an identical new mattress for our guest room. I won't even subject my occasional overnight guests to the T&N. It's way too firm without a topper, and with a topper it's just a crappy mattress with a topper. I know others have different experiences, but I'm going to go with what I know works -- Sleep EZ.

I purchased the organic version for a couple hundred more (peace of mind), and the delivery was quick and easy. In retrospect, I would've purchased the thicker version (13") because the 10" looks a bit wimpy/low but it all depends on your bed frame. New one will be 13".

If you need to dump your old mattress, I can't imagine why you would wait. You can re-order your layers to customize your bed, or even swap them out as many times as you need until it's right. With the cheap mattress places, you get what you get and you're stuck with it,

We've been sleeping on our Sleep EZ mattress for about 8 months and we love it! My husband is over 250 lbs and I am about 135, so quite a difference in body mass. It took some getting used to, but after a couple of weeks my husband said he loves his new bed! We had to change sides in January because I had surgery and needed to be closer to the bathroom. We opened the bed up, switched out the top layers and zipped it back up--easy peasy. The bed is very comfy and we feel we made the right decision.
I'm doing alot of tossing and turning lately and I am wondering if I need a bit more softness on my shoulders and hips??
Overall, we are very pleased with the purchase and would recommend them--in fact, did just that last week.
